Hi All,
 
I upgraded the access database to the 8 version and than imported it into MySQL. Everything works fine except that their is a search error.
 
I cannot search in old posts and not in new posts.
 
I tried to compact and repair the access database before the import, this doesn't solve the problem.
 
Anyone an idea?

You haven't given much to go on.

Do you get an error?
Do you have an example?

A more detailed description of what steps you are taking may help with this.

The error:
 
Search Error
No Search Results Found

Your search failed to find any results
 
When I search for the word "IPC". I'm sure this word is in a lot of posts.
 
 
I reuploaded all the files to be sure their are no corrupted files.
 
Had no errors on the access to mysql import. Imported alle the tables excluding the configuration table.

I wondering if this maybe some encoding problem coursed by your moving from Access to mySQL.

To see if this is the case, post a new post and see if you are able to search that?

I have the same erro in my forum, and my Data Base is MySQL. I try to post new topic and search, but the erro is the same.

Did anybody solve the problem? I get exactly the same error.
I never get search results (new and old topics)

Were can I start to look for the problem?
