just to inform everybody that www.maktoob.com is givig away 1GB email space and 50MB attachment size

seems like another competitor of gmail

maktoob.com doesn't have the technology to do so, I think they are only trying to compete with other local or arabian free email hosting websites

The maxiumum they can do is adding a 100 GB hard disk drive to their server

last time i heard abt maktoob.com was it will be soob accquired by some major internet portal and use it for thier portal servies in the arab world..the name of that major portal was undisclosed.. may be google or yahoo accquired maktoob  or will soon accquire it

There is one more reliable 1GB email provider www.rediff.com with 10 MB attachment Size.
