32 Page display limit on forums?

If you downloaded it in March then you will be on version 8.05 or 8.06, which have no-limits on the number of pages you can have.

However, check the in the box at the top of the forum what the 'Show Topics' box is set to, it may only be set to show topics from the last month or last 6 months.

You can chnage the default on this by editing your forums in teh admin area, and select the default for this box on a per forum biases. If you change it to 'Any Date' it will always default to showing all topics within that forum form any dat.

However, the more topics you display by default the slower the performance of your forum as the more data will be needed from your database.

In version 8 all topics are available but due to the bad paging in ASP only 500 results max are returned to prevent tom much server overhead slow page processing. To view the other topics you need to search or use the column headings to change the topic order.

If you upgrade to version 9 this has been improved for the SQL Sever version you are using.
