7.9 load efficiency

hi all
 
i'm gonna start using the 7.9 version, and i was wondering regarding the load efficiency, can the forum potentially support:
 
1. about 10000-15000 daily replies?
2. up to about 100000 different users?

What database are you using?......if its access..."no".....if its sql.....yep.

it's SQL.  you have any experience with a heavy load?  until now i have used the 6.28 version, and it's been keeping my host's SQL server at 90% cpu sometimes.

updating to v7.9 will for sure help bring that down. Alos having more ram and a bigger CPU helps a lot.

If you're running the latest version of the forum then it is more dependant on the hardware. There may also be a lag between the web server and the sql server.
