Hello,
I try to use Russian and got the following
- Category name displays correctly in forum, but incorrectly in Admin panel; like тест
- if I add post with russian subject, the same problem
- if I add post with russian subject, russian text and several (not one) pictures inserted, I see the error
 
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while writing to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_save_new_topic_data
File Name:- new_post.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'Subject', table 'forum_xs.dbo.tblTopic'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails.

Use SQL 2005, and Win2003 with russian locale

If you are using a non-Latin character set then you need to edit the file:-

'includes/browser_page_encoding_inc.asp'

In this file you will find a whole load of page encoding for different characters sets, you need to select the one that works for your language.

Cool, nice to know it works as I didn't have an non-Latin system to test this on.
