It tracks who's on the db and what they're doing - where. An existing one won't line up with the compacted db. If you delete it, it will be recreated when the compacted db is first accessed.</P>]]>

Most hosts willhave a round a 10 to 20Mb limit on Access file sizes.<br><br>For large sites you should really look at MS SQL Server, yoi can getsome very cheap hosting options these days with support for MS SQLserver 2000.<br>]]>

I ask because I have 50Meg, and I'm unsure how many messages (minus image hosting) might be posted before it starts to get a bit full! Has anyone else had problems with their forum growing too fast, and can the database be stored on another server from the forum code?</P><P>Many thanks in advance to a reply, </P><P>(and Bruce, you are a god-send!!)</P>]]>
