well, nothing changes with other browser/pc.

Can't be client-side if your forum works correctly but mine does not, can it?

The colour browser isn't relient on ASP, it uses more JavaScript andHTML, which is client side, so sugests maybe a clitch in your browser.

Try another browser like Mozilla Firebird.

If you are using a free host they sometimes inject code into pages for adds etc. this can course problems.

Sometimes software running on your PC, like firewalls, add blockers,etc. can inject code into pages, try disabling these types of softwareon your machine and see if that solves the problem.

okay. to keep it clean, i backed-up my customized forum_images folder and i reinstalled the whole forum from scratch. still, everything works except the color palette.

What gives?

additionally, i still have the same problem as mentioned above with the new version/upload. the color palette still does not work, thus narrowing it down to my hosting company (XO Communications). what could possibly need to be changed for the color palette button to work?

I just uploaded the new version and it overwrote my whole forum. It just made the RTE the homepage. I left folder structure intact as instructed. Now what?

I tried to download and it downloaded fine.. Mozilla didn't findanything about how big it was, so it said 0kb, but it was about90-100kb so your file is probably OK.. it opened and unzipped fine withWinRAR 3.2 beta 5..

Okay. I tried to download the Rich Text Editor again from this page: http://www.webwiz.net/asp/sample_scripts/RTE_applicati on.asp but the ZIP file is corrupt. It says it downloaded 98.1KB in 1 second. I don't know if that's the whole file or not, but I cannot unzip it.

Help?

Could be a corrupted file, try reuploading the files.

It could also be if you are using a free web host, if you are this may prevent such items from running correctly.

On this forum ( www.webwiz.net ), if I click on the "A" to change the text color, the palette pops up. On my site, the color palette is the only button which does not work in the WYSIWYG editor.

So far, I cannot find any post which addresses this issue. It occurs on all PCs visiting my site..

Who knows the solution to this issue?
