    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=16049">daz_oldham</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10507<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 19&nbsp;May&nbsp;2004 at 5:42am<br /><br /><P>Hi</P><P>I have set up and configured the forums on my machine with no problem, but now, it would appear I get the error:</P><P>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server<FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3> </FONT><FONT face=Arial size=2>error '80040e23'</FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3> <BR></FONT><FONT face=Arial size=2>Cursor operation conflict</FONT> <BR><FONT face=Arial size=2>/forum/login_user.asp</FONT><FONT face=Arial size=2>, line 172</FONT> </P><P>The user is subsequently not logged in.<BR><BR>I also get the error on the admin section when I try to create a new forum on:</P><P><FONT face=Arial size=2>/forum/admin/category_details.asp, line 88</FONT> <BR><FONT face=Arial size=2>forum/admin/category_details.asp, line 88</FONT> </P><P>However, it still does create the category or forum, and appears to happen when I am updating a recordset that has already been opened.<BR><BR>I am using the latest version that I downloaded this morning, and it is running on SQL server.</P><P>Any help much appreciated.<BR><BR>Regards</P><P>DAz</P>]]>
