Thanks that works..

Before I made that chanhe I was also able to use your (obviously) new ultility to change the username to less 3 characters after they had created one with 4 letters in it. (I saw there were mods to do that for earleir versions)

Not sure if that is how you intended it to work, it seems to sorta break the rules

The length is done in the javascript validation in the file register.asp on the following line of code:-

if (document.frmRegister.name.value.length <= 3){

I would like to shorten the username requirement from 4 chars to 3

Is this possible?  Please provide as much detail as possible, I'm no asp junkie
