ASP can not directly talk to an SMTP server so there is no code to change in the forum software that would enable this.

What you need is to have a mail component installed on the server, mostallow you to use any smtp server so you just need to put in the detailsof your 'MailEnable' smtp server. ie. the SMTP servers address.

If you are using a Win2k or w2k3 server CDOSYS should be installed onthe server so all you need to do in the forum admin area is select thiscomponent and put in the address of your 'MailEnable' SMTP server.
