Moving to MS SQL Server is not a simple process.

You will have to contact your hosts and findout from them how to setupan MS SQL Server Database as each host has a different system.

Once the database is setup you need to download and install the MS SQLServer version and run the MS SQL Server Setup file to create thedatabase and all the stored procedures on the MS SQL Server.

Then you need to find someway of exporting the data into the MS SQL Server database.

You could try using the Upsize tool in Access to do this, but it mayrequire that you delete all the table on the SQL Server first (not thestored procedures).

Hi

Im currently running Access version of WWF. And because of constantslowdowns especially in the evening I checked the database it hasreached 10MB. And constantly there are simultanious 10-20 connectionsin the evening. I would like to migrate to SQL. My question are

• How do I go about moving the information in access database to sql database?
• How do I set it up with my hosts?
• Is there a migrating script or something like that ?

And

• YES I have searched the forums and didnt find a suitable scenario to work upon.
• YES my host supports mySQL and SQL Server.

My current forum is generated within 0.2 seconds with 6 ppl in it. Butwhen night comes I get all this complaints filling up my mailbox. Imfeeling abit frustrated. Please assist. Thanks a mil
