Looks like a corrupted file as the line in question is a comment and should have a single quote (') infront of it.

Try reuploading the files again.

Also it maybe worth checking that the web server you are using defaultlanguage for ASP pages is set to VbScript and not JScript.

Hmmm.... when i try to login as ad admin to forum/admin/default.htm, i get the following message:

Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0401'

Expected end of statement

/forum/admin/common.asp, line 106

Alternative drivers faster than the basic one above--------------------^

I do all my updates by modifying the database directly, but it's not practical. Any idea what's going on?
