This is coursed by software running on the users machine.

Most commonly coursed by pop up add blocking software in things likeNorton that inject javascript into each page the users views.

I have written code to try and remove it but these companies that writethe pop up add blockers tend to change how they do it every few months.

The easiest thing to do is ask the user to turn off the pop up addblocking software on their machine or put your site is as a trustedsite.

Has anyone else run into this? I've had a few users who always get this text: < =""> put into the end of their posts. I looked at the source and there's a bunch of extra stuff in their post:
