I too had the same problem with 7.9
 
Trying to read the message caused the system to hang.  No error message.  No nothing.
 
I resolved my problem by editing pm_show_message.asp and commenting out the line "Response.Buffer= " line on line 58.
The page worked fine after that.

Problem on private messenger. I'm posting prv. messge to anyone or anypone send to me. but any users can not read message.
