It sounds like a problem with the way the SMTP server is setup to only relay on emails to a local email address.

This is something your hosts will need to advise you on.

if a new user try's to activate him self it get's the following error.

 

error '8004020f'

/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 136

 

I'm using version 7.9 on a windows 2003 server and an windows SQL 2000 version.

 

If i try to register with an email account that fits into the windows 2003 domain there are no troubles

 

PLEASE help me
