Hi faca5,

I've used both -borg-'s RTE editor as well as others. I certainly give-borg- credit that his is easy to implement and works well with mostbrowsers, and it has most of the features needed. It also works fine ingecko browsers, which is a key component for me.

I also recently downloaded FCKeditorand have implemented it. It is very powerful; however, it is a littlemore "fickle" to setup and does load a little slower that -borg-'s. Ifyou are considering a "commercial" editor over -borg-'s, then I'dsuggest FCKeditor since it is considered open source (which is kindacrazy since it is js and html code), and it is free and works in geckobrowser in the 1.x version, although the 2.x is still in beta but doeswork.

However, if you want a slightly faster editor that is less fickle, then I'd recommend -borg-'s hands down.

I had a look at the RTE you mention which only seems to work in IE.

The type of image thing you mention is being worked on as a simularthings is part of WYSIWYGpro which have allowed me to use a simular oneto theirs in return for using my animated emoticons.
