    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12237<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 20&nbsp;October&nbsp;2004 at 3:25am<br /><br />MySQL will not work with Web Wiz Forums.<br><br>If you use the Access version the database, for security reasons, must be on the same server as the site is hosted.<br><br>With the MS SQL Server version of web wiz forums you use a MS SQLServer which is usually not located on the same server as the web site.<br><br>MS SQL Server will only run on a windows web server and needs to beinstalled and setup by the web host. There are many hosting companiesthat can give you MS SQL Server only space.<br>]]>

Is it possible, is there<BR>a script to convert the invision sql to make it work with&nbsp;webwiz forum pl.<BR><BR>Secondly: my database is quite big, I got 750gigs space on linux<BR>server, but only 20mb on nt server. Is it possible for me to use the<BR>sql database on linux server or use .mdb file on linux server and<BR>keep the .asp files of forum on nt server ??<BR><BR>Regards</FONT></SPAN>]]>
