However, many members do not discover this and are unable to PM this guy - I'm getting asked.<BR><BR>I acknowledge its a low priority thing in the scheme of things borg - just wanted to get in on the map !]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=5886">Nick-V</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12681<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 24&nbsp;November&nbsp;2004 at 8:49am<br /><br />The forum appears to act inconsistently when a member registers with strange characters in their nickname.<BR><BR>We have a new member called "<SPAN =bold>&#091;10mbit&#093;rajtz".<BR></SPAN><BR>We can send a PM by looking up the nickname in the normal manner. However, if we click the PM button we are presented with a user name of "&amp;#091;10mbit&amp;#093;rajtz" which will not send of course.<BR><BR>I guess the forum is protecting itself against dangerous html but am not sure that this is necessary on the PM&nbsp;button.<BR><BR>Indeed I hope the examples in this posting work OK...at least you get the idea !<BR>]]>
