    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=18446">confused2xover</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12731<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 27&nbsp;November&nbsp;2004 at 3:57pm<br /><br />I seem to be having all kinds of issues using SQL 2000 DTS andimporting my current user table into the forum table.&nbsp; I have hadto create many additional columns in my table to match the Author Tablein the forum.<br><br>I have answered all of it's issues so far and created columns with theappropriate information and formatting, etc.&nbsp; However, currentlyit is telling me that "User_code" column must be unique identifiers.<br><br>When my users sign up for my online service we have a portal site thathas two levels, per company and per user in each company, so our tablesare several and all reference each other.<br><br>Each user is assigned an identifier randomly generated viaVBScript.&nbsp; I tried to use these unique identifiers as the columnto import into the "User_code" column, but the SQL DTS still tells methat the "User_code" column allows only unique identifiers.<br><br><img alt="Angry" src="https://forums.webwiz.net/smileys/smiley7.gif" align="middle" border="0" border="0"> Ihave tried everything I could, worn the search feature in these forumsout searching for information, and still I cannot figure out how toimport my current users into the forum.<br><br>I did find where I could disable the encryption which was nice if I wasmanually entering these, but I do not have the time to enter each oneof my members now or in the future, so I have to figure out how toimport them from another various sets of SQL tables and set up a wayfor the system to import each time I get new users.<br><br>I am by no means a SQL wiz, so please be easy.<br><br>Any ideas on how I can make this work? How do I bypass the need for aunique "User_code" or auto-generate one so this will import?<br>]]>
