    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=18335">racekites</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12746<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 29&nbsp;November&nbsp;2004 at 6:11am<br /><br />Hi<br><br>i'm running v7.9 with access and am seeing some strange things with usernames...<br><br>many of the usernames stored in the db use ascii special character codes... ie "&amp;#112;" for example rather than a "p" etc...<br><br>i'm using the uernames in the forum db for other things on my site andam seeing problems mapping the username to the database...<br><br>however, not all users have the ascii codes in the usernames..<br><br>Any idea why this should be happening ?<br>]]>
