    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12883<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 09&nbsp;January&nbsp;2005 at 6:36am<br /><br />These are all server issues that you need to take up with your web host.<br><br>The 'SQL Server does not exist or access denied' error usually happensif for whatever reason the SQL server can not be connected to. <br><br>It occasionally happens on this site and is often coursed by thingslike network problems connecting to the SQL Server, the SQL Servercould be rebooting, or even over loaded.<br><br>The 'SQL Server error '80004005' Timeout expired' error is very similarto the one above and is often coursed when the SQL Server doesn'treturn data within the server specified timeout limit. This again is asign of network problems or an overloaded SQL Server.<br><br>With the amount of server related issues you are getting I think it's time you started looking for a new host.<br><br>You could try our own hosting, at <a href="http://www.webwiz.net/webhosting" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.webwiz.net/webhosting</a>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12883<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18&nbsp;December&nbsp;2004 at 5:18am<br /><br />Also you mention that your MS SQL Server is at 100Mb, which seems likeallot for 32648&nbsp;Posts in&nbsp;5093&nbsp;Topics and2731&nbsp;members, as this site has at least twice that as well as thedatabase being used for other things and the size is still under 65Mb.<br><br>Check that the recovery model for your SQL Server database is on'simple' this should speed things up with the MS SQL Server and cut thesize down on the transaction log.<br><br>Also 47 forums is a hell of a lot and this will course problems, you should try cutting down the number of forums you have.<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 12883<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18&nbsp;December&nbsp;2004 at 5:11am<br /><br />You haven't mentioned what the errors are so can not really help.<br><br>If you are finding it's running slow and you are having over 200concurrent uses then you are probably using allot of server resourcesas that is allot of database hits, page views, and data transfers.<br><br>With that amount maybe you need to look for a web host with lesspopulated servers, or even a dedicated server to cope with the amountof resources your forum requires.<br><br>On a shared hosting environment your host has probably limited theresources your site has available so that when your site comes underallot of load it doesn't effect other sites on the servers, thereforeyour site will run low of resources and run slowly.<br>]]>
