The variable is declared and set in the main common.asp

It sounds like the file maybe corrupted, try reuploading it to the server again.

Also there are two different common.asp files, one in the admin folderand the other in the main forum, both these fiels are different, makesure you don't have them confused.

Please - I am seriously out of ideas with this.
 
My Forum/DB was fine until a new upload of pages
I now get when starting the forum
 Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01f4'
Variable is undefined: 'strDatabaseType'
/forum/default.asp, line 124
 
The forum /DB work just fine in localhost but not on the ISP. I have reviewed the default.asp page and the common.asp pages - they look fine. I have also redone the DB. Why would something work locally but not hosted?
