do you have a back up of the main page as the other files are working.also regarding admin username/password, open/download the database andenter the default values for the default admin account details.

Well about a month ago, our web host was hacked, and our v.7 forum was one of the sites attacked.  They targeted the index file, which lost all of our settings we had customized to the site.  To get back up and running quickly I uploaded the newest version and pointed it at our previous database.  That got it running with the previous threads and accounts, but not without problems.  Our forum doesnt recognize the admin login anymore, we still have web wiz forum tags all over, and we no longer have our custom header and footer tags anymore.  The latter of those concerns isnt huge to us right now.  The biggest concern is the admin controls.  Is there a new index file or a way to ftp the original v.7 files so I can restore what was written over by the hacker?  After that I will focus on restoring the looks and getting the web wiz tags removed again.  Help?]]> Sun, 19 Dec 2004 14:32:47 +0000 https://forums.webwiz.net/hacked-and-destroyed_topic13046_post72215.html#72215
