    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=15574">jonahex2099</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 13085<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22&nbsp;December&nbsp;2004 at 10:08am<br /><br /><P>This may or may not be related to the forum code or not, if not, and anyone has a clue, please let me know via private messenger.</P><P>My server was working beautifully, however it was somewhat exposed.&nbsp; I moved it to a more "secure" location last night.&nbsp; Here's what changed:</P><P>New IP address (internal network)&nbsp;behind a hardware firewall.&nbsp; (Was a direct connection to the 'net&nbsp;using embedded firewalling on the server, yes, I know, "BAD MONKEY!" <IMG height=17 alt=LOL src="http://forums.webwiz.net/smileys/smiley36.gif" width=17 align=absMiddle border="0">)&nbsp; </P><DIV>Port 80 requests forwarded to the new IP address.<BR><BR>DNS from external DNS servers to internal.</DIV><P>Since the move, whenever someone replies to a post, they get the dreaded "Internal Server Error", but the reply gets posted.&nbsp; It's also not consistant.&nbsp; </P><DIV>Has anyone seen this or is this?&nbsp; Could it concievably have something to do with the DNS change?&nbsp; I wouldn't think so but I've seen weirder behaviour...</DIV>]]>
