If you would restrict visitors to only see the real name it would render things like PM's almost impossible... I don't think it's a sec. threat, all forum systems use the username. I don't understand what you mean, the name the user logs in with is their display name.

The standalone RTE came originally from Web Wiz Forums.

Trying to place the latest standalone version of the RTE into the forumis a massive task that requires allot of work, due to the RTE actuallybeing a part of the forum code, rather than a bolt on extra due toforum permissions, etc.

can this forum be made to only show a users display name rather than the name they use to log in.
