Web Wiz Forums is designed to run with the faster DSN-less connection which should be available if you are able to use DNS.

You may find quite a number of other issues if you use a DSN connection instead of a DSN-less connection.

Upload corruption was not the problem.

My hosting site also makes me use a DSN connection. Moving the message retreival from the middle of the record set to the top worked for me. See this thread: http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=89 79&KW=edit+blank

Allot of errors are coursed by corrupted files.

Try reuploading files gain to the server.

Help?

I just downloaded and installed the SQL version of 7.9.

I am logged in as administrator and created several topics and reply.

When I select the "EDIT" button to edit these existing messages, the editor window comes up without any text. Pressing PREVIEW pops a window that says nothing to display.

Any ideas why the edit button does not call back the text of the message?
