Access only has a limited number of connections when using ASP and ADO.

Generally web servers have an application pool for Access database of20 concurrent connections at once shared across the entire server forall sites.

Although each connection is only open for milli seconds, with a largenumber of active users and other sites also on the same server you aregoing to quickly use up all the connections available in the serversconnection pool.

If you have a busy and large forum like your own the only solution isto use MS SQL Server as the database backend, which doesn't have theselimitations.

i use 7.9 Turkish version
Access db
 
i have 600 members. and 60-70 online users always..
but when it is 60-70 online, server is down...Ouch
 
please help me ..advices...help..i dont know..i must make somethings..

Hi,
 
i set up web wiz forum to hatalar.com. its really good forum. Thank you. everything is ok but i have a problem.
when online users are : 60 or more..server is DOWN !
i contact with my server admin about this problem. because i thought about server problem. but they said me that " i must change my forum's connections details ".
how can i change it? or what to do?
please help. waiting for your advices
