HTML is not allowed in posts for security reasons, such as XSS hackingetc. that could mean a hacker getting hold of admin account details.

However, there are forum codes to create most formatting that is required of posts

You can also paste HTML into the WYSIWYG Editor, but for securityreasons any HTML, Javascript, etc. that could be used for maliciouscode input is stripped, so it's always good to use the preview posttool first to see if the post comes out the way you intend.
