    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 13811<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 15&nbsp;February&nbsp;2005 at 7:45am<br /><br />For some reason in their infinete wisdom when putting Rich Text Editinginto IE, microsoft deceided that when you hit return it should put in a&lt;p&gt; tag coursing double line spacing.<br><br>Also in IE if you hit SHIFT -&gt; RETURN it will do single line spacing.<br><br>In the latest version of the RTE I have manged to intercept the 'ENTER'key function in IE and replace the &lt;p&gt; with a &lt;div&gt; tag tostop double line spacing.<br><br>I'm planning on starting to put RTE version 3 into web wiz forums thisweek for version 8, but I'm expecting, due to complexities in the forumsoftware that it will take the best part of a week to complete.<br>]]>

And I can't use the one in between. The posts take up a lot of space for nothing. Is this a limitation of the RTE, or Did I mess up something. (The default char. is Tahoma).</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>And would it be possible to integrate a newer version of RTE into ver. 7.9?</DIV><DIV>Thanks!</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Hades..</DIV>]]>
