    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=12115">wistex</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 14005<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 25&nbsp;February&nbsp;2005 at 5:32pm<br /><br />And now everyone will complain its been removed. <IMG height=17 alt=LOL src="http://forums.webwiz.net/smileys/smiley36.gif" width=17 align=absMiddle border="0">&nbsp;<IMG height=17 alt=Wink src="http://forums.webwiz.net/smileys/smiley2.gif" width=17 align=absMiddle border="0"><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I don't like Bulletin Boards that use that feature, but&nbsp;I can see where it would be useful.&nbsp; It would have to be something that the admin would decide on and turned off by default.&nbsp; I, for one, would probably never use it, but on some bulletin boards with immature members, it sometimes becomes necessary (i.e. people changing their posts in the middle of a discussion to something totally opposite of what they said before).</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Of course, that gives me an idea:</DIV><UL><LI><strong>Disable Editing (and other features) on a person by person basic, even if they would otherwise be allowed (i.e. a feature ban).</strong>&nbsp; For example, normally you allow all members to edit their posts in a forum, but you have some idiot abusing the feature but otherwise behaves okay.&nbsp; It would be nice to just disable HIS edit feature without effecting all the good members.&nbsp; I guess that would be like a feature ban, which would be short of banning the person entirely</LI></UL>]]>
