Thanks for the help, it took me a while to find it, and now it works.

And for other people, here is the fix.  Bring up the IIS manager,goto the \forum directory and right click and choose properties, selectthe Directory Security tab, under the Authentication and access controlsection select Edit, in the Authenticated access area uncheck Intergrated Windows Authentication.

This type of login box has nothing to do with the forum software.

This login box would be as a sresult of the server, some sort of permissions problem.

You probally have the server setup to reequire a password to access aparticular folder, maybe the folder you are trying to upload the fileto.

Under edit profile, upload avatar, when I upload it and you get thedialog box that says be patient while the image is being uploaded tothe server, I press the OK button and thats when I get this logon box.

What do you mean by 'I get a login box'?

What type of login box are you refering and when?

I am able to upload Avatars under admin (works fine), but when I test it out as a user, I get a log in box!
