You can only upload avatars after you register by editing your forum profile.

To upload files you have to enable it from the admin area then grantpermissions for various groups to upload image and/or file in variousforums.

Ok, installed free software, turned it on in the forum admin settings test the avaitar (works) but...............
 
I do not see a button or link to upload images or files. Where and how is this done? Am I missing something? Or just not added something.
