Update:  very simple solution.

In forum/common.asp find if intGroupID <> 1 then ...

Add new group ID (I used moderator ID =3) to create

If intGroupID <> 1 AND  intGroupID <> 3 Then ...

I saved the altered file under a new name.asp and replace common.aspinclude file with the new name.asp file on those pages I wanted togrant access for group 3.

I then created a new frameset for the group 3 admin, a new abbreviatedmenu and navigation.  This is just to give them there ownsimplified admin section.

I'm going to give this a try:  in admin/common.asp line 298 I findIf intGroupID <> 1 Then ....   I'm going to add the group IDfor the new group there, create a copy of the common.asp and name itcommon_something.asp and use that (include file) on the pages I want togive access to.

I think that should work.

Hey all,

I'd like to add a user group that can move users from group to groupand create new forum categories and forums.  I am thinking of justa menu/page that gives access to just these areas.  I don't wantthem to have full admin access, though.

Is this possible?
