You need to set read, write, and modify permissions for the IUSRaccount on the directory containing the database. it is read/write thats my problem is there something in Windows XP pro that might still keep it read only i can't see it i have done each directory and sub directory and every file that came with webwiz

Please read the documentation that comes with the software.

thisi s a folder ,permssions problem make sure the folder containingthe database has read,write and modify permissions enabled on it.
