things that are being used to uincrease performance are

- application arrays and veriables
- .getrows within queries to insert data into arrays
- optimise queries to bring in as much data on a page as possible using sub queries
- optimise the database structure so that things like last poster, lastpost thread etc are stored in the forum table this is then used in theabove mannor

Borg i take it that is how you are doing so?

I am curious as to what it is you are doing to increase performance. Maybe a few programming examples and practices you could explain, so that we could use and learn from when writing our own code.
