    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=2216">dj air</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 15077<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14&nbsp;May&nbsp;2005 at 6:19am<br /><br />when you say on the same server do you mean on the same domain?<br><br>because the forums need to be in their own application pool.<br><br>or if you want both in the same pool you have to turn off applicationveriables within one of the forums, this is done within the common.aspfile.<br><br>but this also means you can't have the active users within one forumand the performance within that forum will also be slightly less as ithas to call the database everytime for configuration details.<br><br>the only sollutiopn is to either set them in different applicaton poolsor adding one forum into a seperate sub domain, which will put it inits own application pool. <br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by dj air - 14&nbsp;May&nbsp;2005 at 6:21am</span>]]>
