Borg as well as the moderators and members here are providing <b>outstanding </b>support and help. Especially their patience is stunning.<br><br>Also asking for help for a mod does not qualify as a common supportrequest for WWF and should have been posted in Mod forum. Borg's timeis much better spent on developing version 8 instead of providing helpfor individual modifications that are of no use for anybody else.<br><br>Just my 2 cents.<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 15103<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17&nbsp;May&nbsp;2005 at 4:52am<br /><br />Sorry you feel that way, but I do have to work, as well as sleep atsome time and your questions came in after 11pm UK time last night whenI would have been a sleep.<br><br>If you have a look in the mods and add-ons forum other users have already written mods that do what you require.<br><br>The common.asp file does allot, not just the login part for the forum,so just trying to place that file into your own will not work.<br><br>You need to look through fro the part that checks the user is loggedin. The code is commented on every line to tell you what it does tomake this type of thing easier.<br><br>The basic princiable of the login system is that in the database thereis a field call 'user_code' in the table tblAuthor. This user code isalso stored in a &#099;ookie on the users machine.<br><br>To check the user is logged in and who they are, the &#099;ookie is read infrom the users machine and then is used to get the users details fromthe database by matching up the &#099;ookie with the user_code field.<br>]]>
