i beleive there is no full way in the present version

you could disable the add image button in the RTE, but users can paste the code.

the only real way reaslly is to add

take out the section within the formatting thats done on the imput so that it posts the html for the image and not the image.

but there is no real way apart from the last suggestion. you could add  a if blnAdmin = True then

code
END IF

that way admin users can still insert images if required.
