Author: orlandom11
Subject: 15756
Posted: 06 July 2005 at 6:35pm

The other day our webserver crashed taking out all the data on the harddrive. Luckly we had a backup of the DB from the night before.

After reinstalling iis and sql2k (sp4) we went ahead and did a fresh install of webwiz and created the db with the same name as the previous db.After that was done, i downed the sql service and replaced the new created db with the old one from the backups.

Now here is the problem, the forums with all the old content pulls up BUT when i try to log on either as administrator or my old account the only error message i get in IE is this

"The requested resource is in use."

As we speak im doing research to see if its a IIS permission issue or the way i replaced the DB in sql2k. I figured i would also ask here :)

Thanks in advance
