I downloaded a fresh copy of WWF and uploaded it into a sub directory.It too gives the error, which leads me to think it may be a serverissue - but what kind?

I have the same problem and am also using 7.9 patched with SQL Server.  The problem did not manifest itself until I patched my installation of WWF.

all member priviliges are the way they should be!
Also as a test I tried editing one thread and it allowed me edit some of the posts but not others!

make sure you have admin priveleges and that you are allowed to edit posts within that forum, within the group set up.

it maybe you have access within certian forums and not others. check the group and member permssions

For some bizarre reason I or my forums other moderators or the forum admin account cannot edit any posts other than our own.
If I try and edit any other members posts I get redirected to the insufficient_permissions.asp page.

Version 7.9 (patched) on SQL Server

I think it is only happening in the last few days. Also, I patched myedition recently, but I don't know if this is the cause as I downloadedthe patch again just now and it doesn't make any difference.

Any ideas folks?
