Here's a MOD that might do what you want:

It's not technically an "archive", it actually uses the 404 error page as a sort of portal to the forum.  I don't know how other forums' archive functions work.  It seems like it would be very wasteful of space to actually archive the pages.  If you're actually just trying to prevent the querystring from confusing or lowering the importance of the page, the "QueryString Killer" MOD should work.
 
Sadly, the Windows-Tweaks forum is running a PHP-based forum under Apache on Linux.

Hi there,
 
I haven't found any infos by searching the web or this forum about the following issue so I am sorry if this has been asked before:
 
Does Web Wiz Forums support a HTML archive for better google ranking?
 
Explanation: Google adds HTML-pages easier and ranks them much higher than dynamic PHP or ASP-Pages which is why some BBs support an automatically generated HTML archive.
 
Exmaple: http://www.forum.windows-tweaks.info/archive/28414/thread.html - this HTML file is automatically ranked higher and gets faster in the google index. It redirects to the PHP-page of the forum. The HTML archive is a "mirror" for the real board!
 
Does such a thing already exist? Or ist it available through a mod?
