You can turn off email notifications from the control panel until you get email set up.

The person I was posting in reply-to has their email notificationturned on. That's it, isn't it. I haven't got the email system setupyet....

this is a email error

your email settings arent correct or the server is down, or not allowing your email address.

the actual posting is working fine, its the email side of the application you dont have set up corectly

Ok, I made the change to my asp page as directed. Now I have a new problem. Every time I post, I get this message

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/towtalk/forum/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 153

800401f3

After I create my message and hit the post button, a page opens with the above error message

I believe it thinks I am trying todowuble post. If I hit the back button, the post was successful, if Ihit the forward button after that, it tells me that I tried to doublepost. I only hit the post button once.

What the heck did I screw up....

this is correct, there was a swucruity breach within the application and editing was turned off.

Change line 638 of post_message.asp to the following:-

I changed the admin groups name to yonetici grubu which is Turkish means admin.
