That way they cannot interfere. They don't have to be in a seperate subdomain.<br><br>Turning off Application Variables might make it slow. Not exactly sure how WebWiz works with that, as I haven't looked at the code. <br><br>Try resetting your database permissions on the mdb file to be read+write. I would recommend putting it outside of the directory or else someone can download your database and ruin forum. <br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=21848">Jaszbo</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 16799<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 05&nbsp;October&nbsp;2005 at 10:06am<br /><br />I went into both common.asp files in both forums and changed the&#099;ookies to something total different.&nbsp; Basically say one for isexample1 all &#099;ookies in both common.asp I changed to exp1 and for theother forum both common.asp files I changed to exp2 and when I loggedin the new forum, which I'll call example 2 with administrator"letmein" I still cannot get into the administrator panel.<br><br>I then went into each common.asp file and tried changing <br>Dim blnUseApplicationVariables&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 'Set to true if application varibles are used to <br>Dim blnUseApplicationVariables&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; = false<br><br>and on either forum I do this I get this error in the browser <br><br>Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0401'<br><br>Expected end of statement<br><br>/example2/forum/common.asp, line 122<br><br>Dim blnUseApplicationVariables&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; = false<br><br><br>Let me ask you, when you say subdomain do you&nbsp; mean for example ifI owned say http://www.webwiz.net and I wanted a non-profit sitecalled example1 and another non-profit site for another charity calledexample2 and the links were http://www.webwiz.net/example1 andhttp://www.webwiz.net/example2 is this what you considersubdomain?&nbsp; Because this is the way it's setup currently.<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=21848">Jaszbo</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 16799<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 04&nbsp;October&nbsp;2005 at 2:54pm<br /><br />I did a lot of searching, but I can't seem to get two forums to run onthe same site.&nbsp; It has the same domain such aswww.webwiz.net/example1/forum and the other forum I wanted onsomething like www.webwiz.net/example1/forum and I placed bothforums in another private folder that's not being shared.&nbsp; When Iaccess the new one I still see the banner on top of the old one.<br>I read to go into the&nbsp; common.asp set<br>change Dim blnUseApplicationVariables = false<br><br>but when I do that nothing works.&nbsp; I changed the &#099;ookies settingson one of them.&nbsp; On the first forum I logged in as administroatorand turned off active users.&nbsp; The second forum I login asadministrator with the default "letmein", it logs me in alright, butthen when I click on admin button so I can disable active users I getthis "<span ="lgText">Sorry, only members with sufficient permission can access this page." <br><br>I'm sorry as I know this has probably been posted a lot of times, but I can't seem to get it.&nbsp; <br>Thanks<br></span>]]>
