Thanks, I searched for it in the forum and found nothing, so I had topost the question. I will search again. I searched just by the errornumber and got zip.

please dont double post the same topic.

you need to make sure the database is within a folder that has read,write and modify permissions enabled wthin it.,

also make sure the database is not read only its self.

please also note this problem has been answered on here many times before and is also within the forum documentation

I uploaded my files, but get the following message:


Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e09'

Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.

I DID chmod to rw-rw-rw, but other than that I can't figure out why this is happening. Any help would be appreciated.
