Thank you DJ air, indeed Winzip 8 was acting strangely, i just unzipped using winRAR, and it worked fine.

it sounds like your download was corrupt or not uncompressed correctly

try re downloading and using a good unzipper like winRAR

also the file SQL_server_connection should be in the admin folder.

make sure you are installing correctly.

Hello everyone  and  thank u -borg- for the amazing job.
I just followed the instructions and installed all the files on my web folder Forums, i have problems running the forum:
I'm using ASP hosting, and my website is already working on asp.
I noticed the following:

-The file msSQL_server_setup.asp
has <!--#include file="admin/SQL_server_connection.asp" -->
and in my file hierarchy when i unzipped there was no sub folders, so i modified the line to
<!--#include file="SQL_server_connection.asp" -->
My tables were then created with no problem.

-Now when navigating using my browser to www.mysite.com/forum/
i have default.htm the documentation file.
My default.asp contains Response.Redirect("../default.asp")!!
Which file is supposed to be my default forum frontpage?
and why i have got no admin folder?
