I've never had to test it, but can't you also just click the "Forgot your password?" link and have the forum send you a new password? I did a quick serach for 'Lost Password' on this forum and after lessthan 30 secounds of looking I found your anwser in the third post Ilooked in:-

There are other methods and I'm sure I would have found these as well if I had spent a few more minutes looking.

I actually did do a search and couldn't find anything on it. Maybe I was just too impatient.  Thanks for the response! I'll give that a shot.

I know this may seem stupid but I have lost my admin password.  Itwas stored in my Palm Treo and I use so many passwords that when Ibroke the Treo I lost all my passwords. 

I tried recovering the password through wwForum.mdb but it looks asthough the password is encrypted.  Is there any way I can reset itwithout damaging the database?

Any help is appreciated!
