try re uploading the forum admin files, it seems a bit odd and that maybe the issue.

have you edited the admin files at all in anyway apart from the common.asp connection section.

Hello to all,
 
after setting permissions on the database folder everything seemed to work flawlesly... however, from some reason, I can't add new forum group in the administrative panel.
 
Strange is that, when I go to "forum administration", i can see groups I've created, but when going back on forum homepage - nothing is there.
 
I've checked mdb file and nothing is written in it (altough group creation went perfect, and groups are displayed on "admin/frame_set.asp" page.)
 
Just to mention - i've tried ti add forum group manually in database, and that worked....
 
I appreciate any help, and thanks in forward
