Hopefully I havent missed anything.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Firstly I ran a check against the mail server at dnsstuff.com</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>The mail server is not listed as spam and does not appear on the blocked list - 216.119.106.29 so this should be fine.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Heres my mail setup. Looks ok to me? Im still getting delivery error messages. Im having to go into the db and set active to 1 manually.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV><IMG height=575 src="http://www.l&#111;nglostfriends.com.au/images/misc/mailc&#111;nfig.jpg" width=565 border="0"></DIV>]]>

Email activation is simply inconsistant and not reliable, and from searching the forums it seems Im not the only one.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Out of 40 members Ive had almost half email me and complain of not being able to login due to having not recieved the activation email. Ive tried CDONTS, CDOSYS, and ASPMAIL.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>ASPMAIL appeared to function the best so I decided to go with it - however Im cotinually getting delivery errors.
