Hi There,
 
Thanks for the advice.
 
We've done a bit more testing and since discovered that the problem occours when a user goes into edit their own profile ie, update their signature.
 
I'll have a go at your suggestions tomorrow and let you know how i get on. In the meantime if anyone else has any suggestions then please let them be known!

i would

1. upload the files again and to the latest version.

no database changes have been done so that makes it easier

also make sure your group settins are correct. im not sure why yourpost count would reset unless editied within the admin/moderatorfunctions.

Hi There,
 
Apologies if this has already been addressed, but i have trawled these forums and I can't find a satisfactory explanation for our problems.
 
We are running Web Wiz Forums version 7.7a and we are having complaints from our users that their status keeps resetting to Zero posts and a "Newbie" status.
 
We are unsure if this is triggered by them editing their profile in anyway or whether it's just an irregular unexplainable event, caused by absolutely nothing.
 
Can anyone offer a solution/explanation?
