This is quite normal.

It is Access lock file and is used by Access when reading or writing tothe database to prevent errors, such as two users attempting to updatethe same piece of data at the same time.

Sometimes, I see a .lbd file in the folder where I keep my Database. (it is the same name as my DB but .lbd)

It doesn't seem to cause any problems but is it something I should be worried about, or is it normal. It just disappears on it's own.
